Required Patch to Update?
When I try updating, I'm immediately denied to do so, because my version is 1.0.15.0, and I'm told I need 1.0.29.0. What am I supposed to do?

Sounds like you still have the beta. Download 1.0.29.0 from the torrent. Uninstall the beta because you can't use it any more. And back up the Dx9 files in /battlefield2/ because the beta uninstaller deletes them because of a bug.

I don't have the beta, I torrented the .iso and installed it.
EDIT: I re-torrented the .iso, and once I mounted it, I was asked for a password (unlike the first time, which I thought was strange), and everything is fine. This can be closed now.
