V1.0 game interface problems

I've just downloaded the V1.0 game and tried to play online but everytime i get done loading in to the server im just looking at some random area and hitting any button dosent help. Hitting caps lock dosent bring up the usual screen, hitting M wont bring up the map. only escape works bringing up the main menu. I installed it correctly and followed the guide, i dont know whats wronge. Please help

I'm also having that problem, but only after I Alt-Tab once, at anytime. What are your specs? I'm wondering if it has to do with the fact that I have Windows 8 or SLI or something else that I'm not thinking of.

I'm getting the same issue here, I can't do anything without the menu/map. I'm running W8, and I do occasionally alt+tab, but restarting the game doesn't help. No idea what could be causing it.
