Have you turned off your firewall and run PR as admin?

It worked fine with 0.098 and with the Beta. I don't know whats wrong this time.

Are you running modified files? IN vanilla BF2 or in PR1.0?

Just deleted the Battlefield 2 and Project Reality folder in the Documents folder and it started working. /fixed

Hello, I am basically getting the same thing. but the reason I can't join public servers is it says it cannot verify this file;

c:\Program Files(x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\renddx9x2.dll

Any ideas on a fix?

you are not first to have the problem, quick solution:

Here is a copy of my file:

place it in \Battlefield 2\ directory, i.e. where BF2.exe is located.
