Awesome, what jets are going to be included? F4 Phantom?

Atm we only have the A-4 for the US and the MiG-21 for NVA - but they won't be featured in 1.0 as there's no 4km map ready yet. There will be soon enough though.

Man that sounds awesome, can't wait to see a napalm bomb drop off one of those Phantoms.

EDIT: Also is there any news on Australian forces being in the vietnam mod?
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f196-p ... orces.html
the models and the weapons seem to be done and honestly i think people would rather have them in than the game using american voices than not at all so you could add them as an alt layer for some maps.
Please please please can you consider this?

There are no Australian forces in Vietnam atm. If someone wants to go ahead and make this faction (and give them some maps), I'm sure nobody will mind to eventually add them - assuming quality-wise it's all OK. I have no idea what happened to that 2010 project.

And they need their own voices really. But I believe the Aussie comfac (the modern one) has voices already?

It does? Seems like all the aussie faction needs is someone to tie all the loose ends together but i don't really know enough about any of this so i can't really.

I've shared quite a bit, though it may be a bit scattered across the forums :p .

Await the list-of-changes, that will keep you busy for a while ;) .

Who could we get in contact with for the PR:V Aussies and Kiwis and their modern counter parts?

they're not really in development. Your best option is to get a team together and pick up where they left off.

Yeah, best to contact the 'project leads' and/or bump their threads (not all of course) and see what you can do to help out.

seems that way. tried at 3 different times during the game, only brought up the select/drop kit rose. saw one american squad get one out, not sure if it's bug or intended.

if it's bug, map was ia drang, (large std i believe)

Not sure if this has been said but the vietnam m14 has no magazine well, its just wood and no where for the magazine to be loaded. What happened to the new m14 shown in the weapons showcase?

NVA should speak Vietnamese, but there are Chinese leftovers in there, as we don't yet have new voices for them :( .

You could always record some samples? Who knows :) .
