Lost GameSpy account's password and email...need help (not this one)

Post by PR0_SNIPE »

Hello, I made an account with a pretty nice name and I tried to recover it and I can't remember the password OR email...The email was just some random bunch of numbers @yahoo.com that I didn't think that I'd need again.

I've tried all of the passwords I can think of that I might've used on it but none work. :(

Is the account lost forever?

Do you have access to a computer that has logged into it before and still has that installation? If so go to C:\Documents and Settings\(yourname)\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles and go through all the profile.con files and look for the username you want. Find the exact email in there, and then create that email and recover the account...unless you want to crack the encryption for the password instead.

Or, you can edit the name on the file to whatever you want.

I have since deleted the profile from my old desktop. Tried this. Not there... :? ??:
