Mouse speed issues

Just now my mouse went all weird. I suddenly have a much faster yaw than pitch, although they were both on 1 in the options (and before it worked fine). I rejoined the server and I restarted, but the problem persists. As a workaround I have now put my pitch speed up, but in the spawn screen, my mouse now is totally off, extremely low pitch, extremely high yaw. No idea, what I did to start it, though I had a CTD just before it happened.

You are the second person to report this weird bug.

go to documents\projectreality\profile\0001 or 0002 or whatever the profile number is that is causing the problem.

open control.con in notepad.

look for any weird numbers at the bottom of each section.

In open beta this was related to mumble crashing and then automaticly starting up again.

Similar bug happened to me. My mouse sensisivity got basicly maxed out but all the menus and config file shows normal values for mouse sensitivity.

Edit:

Removing the following line of code from config file worked.
ControlMap.setAxisScale 0 0.107843

I also had this problem once... fixed after restarting the game
