I am getting kinda confused with new Map Overview during loading screens due its enourmous number of Neutral Flags. Perhaps, it is not that important but I would like to know why Devs decided to put all the possible Flag combination from all different gamemodes on one image.
Currently, it doesn't serve any purpose and it would look even better without white lines all over the place.
I don't want to rant or bash anyone but I am slightly confused about this clusterfuck when it was OK in the previous versions.

Re: Map Overviews
It's not all the flags of all gamemodes, it's all the possible flag routes that may be picked for AAS only.
It's not that great visually, but it's automatically generated.

Re: Map Overviews
The problem is that the amount of flags on the map overview is not the same as in actual game. Honestly, I have no clue how to read the map overview hence it doesn't serve any informative role for the new player at all.dbzao wrote:It's not all the flags of all gamemodes, it's all the possible flag routes that may be picked for AAS only.

Map Overview confuses instead of giving a brief information of the battlefield, IMO..

Re: Map Overviews
Unfortunately, we can't know what is the route that is going to be picked by the game mode and show that to the player. It's randomly generated during map load.
Again, I agree it doesn't look the greatest, but what should we put there? Just two big arrows showing that team 1 will come from the left and team 2 will come from the right? And no flags at all? That may be the only thing that is reasonable. I don't have any other ideas.

I liked this change... but anyway you can press ENTER after the map loads and see what the flags are in the actual game... not a big problem here

Talking about map overviews, displayed kilometer square are wrong. It says 4km2 for kashan and 2km2 for muttrah for example, when it should be 16km2 and 4km2. Either remove the square so it gives the side size or put the correct number.

Re: Map Overviews
I suggest removing everything what is white on the map (lines, flags) and leave only 2 starting (main) areas - they look sexy. Couple of big arrows might a nice touch but not necessary to put it there.dbzao wrote: Just two big arrows showing that team 1 will come from the left and team 2 will come from the right? The lack of flags during loading screen can be explained as soldier gets familiar with battlefield on his way to the base and receives more detailed plan on attack upon his arrival.
Such small changes/additions get noticed by publicity way faster than anything else. Also it proves that Devs actually care about their fanbase___sangue-ruim___ wrote:but anyway you can press ENTER after the map loads and see what the flags are in the actual game... not a big problem here

nAyo: ENOUGH! We understand that you really want it to read that way, but get over it. Another post about map dimension will result in an infraction.nAyo wrote:Talking about map overviews, displayed kilometer square are wrong. Wait what I'm sorry? are you mistaking AFsoccer? It's my first post about it, I was just letting you know about it like a normal feedback since no one mentioned it yet I think, I don't understand? I obviously don't care about this mistake it's not a big deal, I'm just saying!
