Mumble links very briefly then disconnects
My first issue with Mumble was that it crashed, quickly fixed by running it as administrator. Onto the next issue...
Now however, I can join a server and it Mumble shows that it has linked and shows the IP, but then a few seconds later it says disconnected from server. From here nothing happens. At no point has mumble shown channels, my squad etc or heard any mumble talk, or even tries to connect again.
I'm wondering is this a problem my end? I live in Dubai and not sure what restrictions on ports there may be, or is this a problem people are also experiencing elsewhere?

I forwarded the UDP and TCP ports but that didn't help (64739) if that's correct. Anything else?

Tried disabling that and it had no effect. Is that port correct? Cant seem to find much info on the mumble ports!!
I imagine it will have something to do with this router (just installed today in new apartment)

Wahey it works!
TCP force didn't work.
Looks like I had use Port Triggers and not Port Forwarding. Wasn't obvious!
So if anyone else has same link/disconnect issue, try opening the port above.
Thanks for your suggestions Sam!

I'm having this same issue, could you please tell me what you did to fix this exactly?Rico wrote:Wahey it works!

Do you have access to your routers control panel?
Log in, and find the advanced section where it allows you use forward ports.
You need to select UDP and TCP forwarding for 64739.
Save settings and restart router.

Added that one too.
However, back to square one today despite some success last night. Sigh.

Are you still running the Mumble 1.04b client? The one you run separate from PR?Rico wrote:Added that one too.

No I uninstalled that months ago. Still no joy getting it to work, very frustrating.

Re: Mumble links very briefly then disconnects
Sadly I'm giving up as cant spend any more hours of frustration trying to connect in Mumble.
Tried and failed with port forwarding, DMZ, disabling all firewalls, disabling QoS in mumble, forcing TCP in mumble.
