Alright...let me first say everything has been working great for me except mumble overlay occasionally doesnt appear. But yesterday I was playing hardcore server and the server crashed and upon rejoining I was having serious framerate issue so I alt tab and see my cpu maxed out by the pr manager....so I close the game and start it over again and everything is fine....and it only happened to me once and it also happened to another player later and I walked him through what to do....he said his pr manager was doing the same as mine I just described. ...hope this helps...

Win7 and I run everything maxed on graphics with ati

Yeah, looks like crashing is affecting pr launcher in bad ways.

I'm also having this situation. Setting priority of PRLauncher to low and settings its affinity so it can't conflict with PR seemed to help.

When I launch Project Reality and join a server, PRLancher always stays at 50% no matter activity, or usage.

Hello

Reporting that I experience this same issue but only since 1.0.34, not prior.
I have to set the priority to Low and the affinity to 1 CPU in order to continue playing without restarting.

I also have this issue, and it seems to only be since 1.034
It does it even without a server crash, it seems to start after playing one round. One round of normal cpu usage, then ridiculous cpu usage.
