PR/BF2 Mouse delay

Post by LordtoRevenge »

For the past months that ive had BF2 and PR ive had this annoying mouse delay issue. Basically it only happens in the menu's and ingame, and when i move the mouse it lagsw behind by a couple miliseconds. Its very annoying and i have no clue how to fix it. Someone please help.

With me it just goes away as I start playing so I won't mind.

Do you have at least stable 20 FPS? If not, your computer might not be able to handle this game in time, which is resulting in mouse lagging. Had it on my old PC.

My mouse is choppy and a bit slow in spawn menu, works perfectly in main menu and game runs at +60FPS all the time.

Dunno if it's just BF2's fault.
To think out of the box, one must first ascertain, what is in the box.

Moved to support, as this seems to be an issue on the user's end

PLease post your system specs from the PRLauncher->Support tab
Also, please tell us which mouse you have.
Also please tell us of any background or overlay programs running that can "steal" mouse focus, i.e. any overlay program you can bring up that you can then click the mouse on to interact with the program.

LordtoRevenge, you should

download mouse drivers for your mouse
completely uninstall all your mouse drivers,
shutdown,
unplug the mouse,
reboot,
plug in the mouse,
do NOT allow the new hardware wizard to install the generic mouse drivers,
manually install the mouse drivers.
reboot.

test.
