How to work ports?

Post by matty1053 »

Hello everyone.
I have to ask (Honestly, I hate to) how do I work my ports on my router?

I want to open my ports:

16567 UDP
27901 UDP
4712 TCP and UDP

But NOT on windows firewall since I do not have that in usage. I only have my McAffe's (security program) firewall and somewhat my routers.

My routers port forward page.

What I don't get is what is the SERVER IP ADDRESS for?
And what about the start and end port?

I just need help on what to do? How to enter the ports so I can work w/ no DC?

The Server IP address is the address of your local PC that needs the protocol.
You will need to configure your PC to use a static IP.
The start and end ports are for opening traffic on a series of ports.
Example: for the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection you'd enter start 27900 and end 27910. It would open traffic to 27900, 27901, 27902...27910.
If you just want one port enter the port number in both the start and end fields.
Best line yet...
