Error 1324

Post by Zenki »

I was playing the game just fine, just finished a round of Black Gold infantry, while switching to Saarenaa or however you spell it, the loading bar stopped at %15 Objects, game the started to freeze up, could not alt tab out, could not Alt F4 out, had to shut the computer off.

Now when I try to start the game I get this error code.

And then when I go to switch my display mode nothing even comes up...

Try running other games. Do you get display issues? (Could be a sign of GPU issues)

I've deleted my ProjectReality folder in My Documents folder.

Copy and pasted my Battlefield profile video.con file into my ProjectReality profile folder.

Can still play Project Reality .987

Can still play BF2 Vanilla

What a strange bug. :/ We'll see if we can get someone in to help.

In the meantime, I'd say re-install BF2, 1.41, 1.5, PR 1.0 Beta etc and see if that fixes. Sorry for the inconvenience. :X

First thing I tried doing, and sadly it didn't work. Maybe it will work for someone else though.

I have deleted all content in ...\Documents\Project Reality\Profiles\ and ...\Documents\Project Reality\LogoCache\ (I suppose that LogoCache has nothing to do with this but I deleted all content in it anyways). After importing my profile I had 1322, so I deleted the profile data again and everything works. Got beaten in few nice rounds today. Hope this helps at least a bit. Cheers

just installed version 1.0, still getting the 1324 error.
tried deleting the contents of \Documents\Project Reality\Profiles\ and \Documents\Project Reality\LogoCache\ still getting the 1324.............

is it normal that the option ``Display Mode`` is coloured red, and upon clicking it expands to reveal no options ?

That is definitely not normal.

Can you please post your system specs from PRLauncher>Support>Copy to Clipboard , and paste it here.

Also, what GPU and monitor do you have, and do you use HDMI, DVI , VGA or something else to connect the monitor to the GPU?

Honestly, your computer is way too old for PR, and even if you managed to get ingame, you would have so many issues it's not worth it.

LeDudd wrote:Hello Gentlemen,

I have just encountered the very same error, while trying to play PR on the fresh install (win 7). Error 1324 and red empty "Display mode" field in launcher's options. Installing dedicated drivers (older ones from packard bell over the newer ones from win7) for my Mobility Radeon fixed the problem immediately. The video drivers (plus maybe 1.35 update) seems to be responsible for this error. Good luck fixing it!
Same error on a hot rig - help please
