PRSpy iPhone app testers

Post by =RC=NZ Randomhole »

Hey guys, I have been working on a little server browser iPhone app for a few nights and have had some success. So far it is reasonably basic but pretty cool if I say so myself.
Yes it is WIP, Will be open to testers as soon as I get the beta thing working.
Let me know what you think:

Not bad. Will we be able to see the players on each team when we select a specific server?

Well the ultimate question I have, will your app list 64 players on the detail screen or 100?

Well, it will list as many players as the server has, not sure how I will do it without making a big resource hoggy mess. But isn't that the whole fun?

Answers the question ?

Well I'm wondering because in its current state, regular PRSPY can only list the details of 64 players on each server, they can't list the full 100.

But if you're not adding player details then don't worry about my question :P .

Oh no I will be adding player details, but I overlooked the player count in the source
https://www.realitymod.com/prspy/json/serverdata.json?1376392165821

It only lists 64 players, but as soon as the source is updated 100 players will be supported.

There is a similar app for the windows phone. I like it, and works like a charm.

Release date soon! Just waiting on apple to 'approve' of it.
I have been so busy with Uni work , I haven't played PR since 1.0 release :(
I can't use PR dog tags :( i'm not allowed but I got my girlfriend to do new art and its looking pretty nice (IMHO)

I will also be releasing the source.

Just keep in mind that its WIP at the moment ;-) hence the 'Report a bug' feature, please don't use it to spam me.
Things to do:
  1. Make the UI nicer
  2. Remove the pr version part of the server name "[PR X.X.X]" to display more of the unique server name
  3. Sort the players between teams
  4. Get permission for map images from devs, (Nobody has replied to me yet) Halp someone?
  5. Player search feature
  6. Server 'favourite' feature, notification centre tracking and whatever
  7. Maybe add an iAdvert to the bottom, donations to the community.. IF the devs give me permission to use map images
Oh and there is an iPad native version too
