My computer recently crashed while I was busy playing PR. I restarted my PC and launched PR launcher. Now I get an error " 1324: The selected display mode is not supported. Please update the display mode for your profile in the "Options" menu and try again." each time I try to log in with my account.
I then went to options and set the original display and pres play and the same error pops up. When I go back to the options I see that it has been reset again. Please help.

OK I've passed the first error by pasting a fresh copy of my "Video.con" files into the Project Reality profiles folder. Now I'm getting an " Error verifying profile settings. Please confirm the profile files are not Read-Only and try again. " So I went to my profile in the project reality directory in my documents and unmarked the profile with its file to unset "Read-Only". When I check the properties again it has changed back to "Read-Only".
Please help I just want to play!

Instead of importing, try retrieving the account.
Go to "My Documents/Project Reality/"
Delete the Profiles folder.
Start PR Launcher and press the little arrow next to Play and Choose "Select Profile"
"Manage Profiles -> Create Profile -> "Retrieve Existing GameSpy Account"
You will have to do your settings again so maybe backup the "controls.con"

That didn't work. It still gives me the read only problem, and the file keeps resetting to Read-Only.

I think the problem lies with the 3d party program (PR launcher) trying to access my profiles. So is there any way I can reinstall the PR Launcher? I read up several topics on microsoft and other sites and most guys say all their files are also check with a blue box "Read-Only", bot the tick mark.

In the options select the reset all profiles box at the bottom and try again.

Alright I fixed it. I deleted all the profiles in the profiles folder, including the "Default" folder then I copied the Global.con file from BF2 porfiles to PR profiles and it launched.
