Korengal/Lashkar valley AAS
Due to the general repetitive unexciting map rotations ATM i Have yet to have had the opportunity to play either of these maps in there new layout. They sound like they could be very interesting so im just putting this thread up for people to give feedback and accounts of either of these maps on the new AAS layer.

Just played Lashkar AAS with the eastern route on NEW as BlueFor yesterday and it was really interesting. Battles are more focused and INS had more permanent spawns and defended the flags hard but we managed to pull them back to the last flag before our tickets go out. Was alot of fun and should run more often.

Sounds cool hopefully more servers will play this as they start going through the maps.ghostfool84 wrote:Just played Lashkar AAS with the eastern route on NEW as BlueFor yesterday and it was really interesting. Re: Korengal/Lashkar valley AAS
THe 500v800 tickets + bleed is completely OP for redfor. I commanded a good team, against a better one, and despite having all the assets at my disposal, constan UAV observation, constant spotting and accurate mortar missions, our team had triple the kills and vice versa for the other team (180/60) kinda thing and we still lost by 250 tickets, and we made it to the next to last flag just at the end...
Rethink this. AAS is good on these maps, always wanted it.

Yeah i had the chance to play a round on TG server. Have to say this layer makes this one of my favorite conventional vs unconventional maps, i like the assets, the map and the teams. Hopefully this will be played more frequently in map rotations.

Played Korengal AAS a couple times as Taliban. Every time is just Blufor_rapes_Taliban_for_an_hour.wmv

What do you think would help balance it? A few more technicals, different flag layout, what?epicelite wrote:Played Korengal AAS a couple times as Taliban. Every time is just Blufor_rapes_Taliban_for_an_hour.wmv

I dont think there is any balance issues, the Taliban have HAT,LAT and AA kits available, if the team chooses not to use them and gets wasted that's there problem not a balance issue. The main problem is everyone still has an insurgency mentality when they play as Taliban so they lack coordination.

Exactly... I saw this on Lashkar AAS... the derp was off the charts. We lost all our flags in about 20 or 25 minutes, because everyone was acting like "Taliban = no teamwork/coordination", like insurgency.waldov wrote:I dont think there is any balance issues, the Taliban have HAT,LAT and AA kits available, if the team chooses not to use them and gets wasted that's there problem not a balance issue. Re: Korengal/Lashkar valley AAS
according to our map stats, taliban won more rounds than bluefor on lashkar.
but yeah, I am glad that you like the new AAS layer of lashkar. so making it was worth it
(kudos to crocop for helping me when the time was running low btw)
