Unable to contact verification server

This is really bothering me, I spent hours downloading and setting it all up, and I cannot even start the game.

After I click 'Play', it verifies client files, it comes up with "1301: Unable to contact verification server. Please check your internet connection and try again."

Any suggestions? My firewall is off, PR is accepted..

Had the same problem, still have the problem randomly but no real solution yet, maybe something in the thread works for you:
