switching between scope and iron sight
I have noticed that it's possible that the sensitivity of the two modes get mixed up. So that in iron sight mode the sensitivity is too high. I think this just happenes while you change the mode while aimed, haven't tested it much. I was a a russian rifleman with AK74m.

It's happening to me too, it seems to be ramdom
I noticed this happening to me before this .36 patch.... so I don't know...
Yes you can change while aimed, however:

You must zoom out and in again to switch between sights if toggled while aiming.

Happened to me as well as Russian. Doesn't seem to happen every time you switch the mode while already sighted in. Easily fixed by double-tapping the switch key again, until its fixed.

This isn't random this occurs if you change between backup and standard sights while in the middle of an ADS or exiting ADS animation I believe.

I've noticed a weird bug where if you stuff around with it a bit, the BUIS have the same magnification as the regular scope.

I've got that bug lots of times when I need the iron sights very quickly (or the other way around).
Kind of irritating that you have to do it all slowly

And why the ACOG in U.S.ARMY can't switch to iron sight but U.K.ARMY can ?
I still remember the ACOG in ArmA ACE can switch to.

Whats up with the british ECOS sight having a slower turn rate for the RD than ACOG? Shouldn't it be opposite? I can move the acog around just fine, but when I'm in CQB with the RD selected it clams up.

Re: switching between scope and iron sight
game seems to magnify sensitivity, when the view is magnified, it happens in any vehicle that has zoom and most scoped weapons+binocs, where as you aren't zooming with the RD, so the sensitivity is lower/same as when you aren't zoomed in.viirusiiseli wrote:Whats up with the british ECOS sight having a slower turn rate for the RD than ACOG? at least that's what it feels like to me, i've had to lower my mouse sensitivity/DPI when zooming in with tanks even since .973, seems worse in 1.0 just because the turret movement seems changed even more
the sensitivity on BUIS vs scoped in on say the AK74M or SVD is probably one of the more noticeable examples
