Im monitoring the Cores separately and not a single one is going over 50 % Loadout *ever*.

*If* there is a Hardware Problem its not a Lack of processing Power.

Set the process affinity to a single core, then check again.

If you installed the downloadable version and start it after you will get the newest version by the integrated autoupdater.

Yes, yes I have. I get performance drops playing with 4 people on a skirmish map... Not as bad but from 99fps to 50fps at times..

I just realized it is highly related to CPU, I was making some tests on Fallujah coop on a local server and monitoring my hardware. My GPU won't even get 50% loaded.

Normal FPS (looking away from the bots):
Image

Shitty FPS (looking at the direction of the bots/houses):

Note: I am running ENB but it does not matter, the FPS is pretty much the same.

Remember that the CPU load graphic is not precise because, as said on this thread, BF2 won't use two CPUs at all.

Posting specs again:

Almost no performance drops with 64 players on most maps. Maps like Fallujha still drop though ofc.

Fallujah is by far the most un-optimized map in PR right now I think. I get 100fps on most maps but fallujah city it drops for me to about 60. I think most people suffer from low FPS on fallujah compared to other maps. GPU is indeed never really fully used in PR, its highly recommended for PR to invest in proper memory and CPU power.

That is why I tested there. If I can get good FPS on Fallujah (25-30+), I can get any map else.

[/CODE]
Switch Windows Task manager to display all Cores.

In Windows Task Manager select:
Performance
View
Cpu history
One Graph Per Cpu

I believe you will see that not a single Cpu Core is maxed out.

It is not maxed, but CPU 1 is working harder than CPU 0. Also, note that it gets more use when I look to the city.

Well, I can't tell anymore....

(19 FPS, freaking PNG to JPG will blurry the numbers)

(55 FPS)

BTW, I was checking my appdata folders and just found that the PRMumble folder has a freaking 1.5GB size... Is that shit right?

Check it:

1.0.29.0 was the last version of the BETA, so you're much probably using the wrong client.

No, 1.0.29.0 is the 1.0 full installer version.

The launcher will update to the current version.

Check it:

You can delete the Console.txt file in that folder. I think someone forgot to edit out the debugging data from the mumble exe, so it's logging each transmit you do, local or squad radio... adds up quickly :)

Deleting the file should have no negative side-effects.

Edit: I just deleted it and tested it in-game, it seems the later versions do not suffer this issue... so that 1.5GB should be old data. Deleting the file will solve the issue :)

Which issue? The lag issue? Or just having a 1.5GB file?
