Confirm Vehicle type ticket loas / spawn times

Hi all,

Might just be being blind here but I can't see any mention of ticket costs and respawn times attributed to vehicle destruction in the manual.

Could someone please confirm for me?

Check out page 19, Vehicle Information:
If a team vehicle asset is destroyed it incurs a ticket penalty:
‣Jeep or truck:
2 tickets
‣Transport helicopter:
5 tickets
‣APC/AAV/RECON:
5 tickets
‣Tank or IFV:
10 tickets
‣Jet or attack helicopter:
10 tickets

HMMWV/Rover/G-Klasse/etc: 2
Transport Truck: 2
Logi Truck: 2
Mobile AA: 5
APC: 5
IFV: 10
MBT: 10
Trans Heli: 5
CAS (all of them): 10


As for the respawn times, I'm not 100% sure but I think these are map dependent.

We don't list the respawn times because (as Hurricane mentioned above) the mapper is allowed to change it slightly if the map warrants it.

But the standards are:

APCs with ATGM/TOW
TOW vehicles

Actually there are some vehicles such as BMP-3 on Jabal, Havoc on Silent Eagle Lrg, attack huey on Ia Drang and some others still have 20 minute respawn/spawn

Anyone know the OSPREY respawn time? On Muttrah it seems to be 10+ mins?

If you go to Battlefield 2/mods/pr/levels/muttrah_city_2/server/gamemodes/gpm_cq/128 and open the gameplayobjects in notepad you will find every gameplay objects normally starting with the vehicles, in this case for Muttrah, in AAS gameplay mode (cq = conquest = aas) for the large layer ( 128 ).

min and max Spawn delay are always the same in PR and indicates the respawn time... with the mv22 in this case it is 900 seconds = 15 min.

Some vehicles never re-spawn and in that case they have a re-spawn of 999999 seconds

All vehicles that never re-spawn are on the map from the very beginning, where as vehicles like Jets are always delayed the amount of time from the beginning of the round equal to there re-spawn time.

So this is the long answer to your question :) and now you can search any map any gamemode and any layer to see what spawns and how long the re-spawn time is :D




Edit: A bit of bonus info is that some vehicles like the mec logistic truck on muttrah is not spawning "from" the main base but from South City.
This means that you need to control this flag and then the vehicle will spawn where-ever the spawn is and in this case the spawn point is back in main base.

You can tell which flag the vehicle spawn is "linked" to by "ObjectTemplate.create ObjectSpawner " which in this case is ="cpname_muttrah_city_2_aas64_southcity_LogisticsTruck"

This is btw why I like the unusual spawns in Ramiel's AAS layer. Of-course it is done to help reflect what really happened during the fight in Mogadishu back then.

Looking at it from the US perspective

When you capture the 2nd flag Convoy Rendezvous 3 Humvee's will spawn on the actual flag. They don't re-spawn though.

When you capture the 4th flag Safehouse 2 UN IFV's and 1 UN APC will spawn in main. They also never re-spawn.

Unfortunately ARF seems to keep the US out of the city as the US team is normally not organised enough to control a small point inside the city long enough.
