2011 during .957 I think... All I remember was joining a map and joining an APC squad. Told the SL I was new and he showed me the ropes of being a turret gunner and got me familiarized with the game mechanics. I think I went like 13-2 that round, so I was pretty content and got off to a good start with PR :)

I began with PR in 2007 playing on and of, so each month I played like 1 game or so. Since 2008 I am playing almost without breaks. I remember my first game when I started playing seriously, me and a mate found a hideout on the castle on Operation Archer back when the US were on it. But we didn't know what it was, it took us half an hour to destroy it and I must say, I liked it. Since then I started joining INF squads and later on I tried to SL myself. Now I do almost everything in the game except for jets. Since 6 months I can finally fly helicopters properly and I enjoy armor more and more.

And GladI I remember your first game, I joined half way in when Mac was everything explaining to you.
We are staying up!

Back in summer of 2008, Kashan training, as MEC. Got messed up time and time again by CAS trying to spawn on the MEC vehicle spawn.

First real server was on Seven Gates, lagging like crazy cause my computer at the time couldn't even run regular BF2 on low without lagging... And yet I loved it

My first experience was back in 0.3 I think, on Muttrah v1. I remember crashing a few LBs on the carrier. :D

Connected to Muttrah, remember a lot of little birdies. I also remember flying A10 on Albasrah with 15 frames per second. I also remember the small brits vs. mec map, it had some parked jets in different garages which you could mount and the brits started the level by parachute in, anyone knows the name of this map?

It was around 1,5 years ago. Beirut map on Russian Side (Co-Op)

I remember spawning on SL in the attack chopper. I also remember pressing the exit button to parachute myself on the flag. Never have I been so wrong. I miserably crashed on the ground when I realised that the parachute would not open.

My habits of using parachute in BF2 killed me in PR. Never again have I jumped of a chopper.

Hard Landing.

I think it was in 2009/2010?
Joined a server, it was Fools Road (?) I think.. It was Russia vs. Militia
At the time I didn't have a mic, and when your mic jack is not used VOIP does some weird sh*t, I coudln't hear the rest of the guys.

After big time lone wolfing I decided to join a squad and grabbed a PKM, ran around with for like ten minutes towards the enemy's main. Surprisingly enough I wasn't shot once during the whole run, then got shot by something big.

Man I was a retard.

I think it was that trenches map on 0.5? Or airport. I think it was airport. I was in a vanilla clan back then. The 0.5 release was a pretty big deal in the bf2 community.

Muttrah v1

TF21 guys and I would swim half way to the carrier as mec then use move markers to blind fire the choppers off the deck.

Lots has changed

sometime around .5
remember playing a lot on tg before a deployment with dirt and cougar, other names from the past. got to iraq, and found bf2 in a lan center! those ******** hated me, no mercy jetwhore. taught another guy to fly well, and we'd do army v af. sometimes we'd win those brutal cas maps like dragon fly, had them damn near rage quitting. we'd scream AIR POWER BABY loud enough for the rest of tent city to appreciate proper jetwhoring. they had some good apache teams, since they flew apaches all day... but still... AIR POWER!!!

I remember being CO on that map and being able to zoom all the way in and use move markers for the CAS sqs to kill cashes.

And the Ins Tank was a beast too
