Do I need PR ISO to play?

The PR 1.0 ISO takes 6 GB, I would like to delete it, but do I need it on my computer for the launcher/mod to work properly? I noticed that the ISO keeps loading itself in the virtual tray even if I do "eject" like a CD. I guess it loads itself each time I run the mod?

So can I delete it or is it vital to play (Like DVDs for games)?

Bloodydeed said to me on Xfire that you can delete it, it's only used for the installation.
