Installation Problem/Steam no servers

Hello everyone this my first post, I have a couple problems hoping the community can help me.

When I install PR it stops and freeze my computer at PR/Levels/Beirut.zip. And then gives me error telling me I can skip it. So I found on other forums, some said just rename the mod folder "levels" to levels_edit. I did this and it stops the verify checking however when I go to game it just shows no servers at all! So I can't install PR correctly, and I I see no servers. I installed BF2 from steam which comes with 1.5 installed. Anyone ever have the same problem?

I am playing on laptop, 2010 Toshiba Sattelite A665.

To play online on official servers you must have the PR mod installed in the Steam\Common\BF2\mods\pr directory.
If you change ANY of the files or directories inside the mods\pr directory, the PR mod will fail file integrity and our built in anti-hacking protections.

If you list the exact files that are broken, including Beirut.zip, we can upload those specific files for you to place in the right location.

Thank you. Do I need to reinstall BF2 and the PR mod? I replaced the exe with bf2 retail.exe the forums said it was needed, was it no longer needed to do that in pr 1.0? for earilier version I need do that. Also I think the beirut is broken so if you can upload that would be great.

I just remembered! PR would not install at all when I tried orginally without the replacement exe. It just said "cannot find the required file" for install. So thats why I replaced the exe, then it would just crash trying to install the beirut.zip.

It didn't work when I put it back in the steam folder. I see why, I renamed the pr in mods folder to pr_edit bybas the scan so it not check and allow me to play. Thats what I did wrong. Just kindly send me the beirut.zip files so I can replace them out, and everything should be fine. Sorry for the extra replies. Thanks

Can't you just rename the "levels_edit" folder back to "levels" after you have installed the mod?
Also just to be sure.. Everyone have to update the server list manually the first time the game is launched so make sure you press the update button when looking for servers.

No, I need the levels/beirut.zip its corrupted when i try to install it. Just please send it or upload to me

Hey mate, Download a torrent download program
Here is good one: Tixati.com - Home
Install it and open this with it : files.realitymod.com/bt/prbf2_1.0.29.0_full.iso.torrent
Then when it starts to download, STOP it.

Open the folder where the files is being downloaded by your torrent program to, and put the ISO file you already have in there overwriting it. Then go back to the torrent program and right-click the PR download and choose "Local Files -> Force Check" It will check which part of the file is corrupted and redownloads them. Easiest way to "uncorrupt" files.

Then just reinstall PR.

It doesn't work. When it force checks, it just crasheson the corrupt file. And freezes my computer I have to turn it off. Please if someone could just send me the zip file for Beirut thats all I need!
