About Us:

World at War is an amazing tournament focused on teamplay.
World at War is the oldest tournament of hosting campaigns for Battlefield and its mods, going back to Battlefield 1942 in 2002 and continuing today with Project reality 1.0 for BF2.
World at War made a major impact on the Battlefield community, with custom maps, custom vehicles and even going as far as adding ships to the Forgotten Hope 2 mod.
You can expect teamwork and coordination on the highest levels, with full servers and epic battles featuring infantry, tanks, helos, planes and everything in between.

What dates are the matches on? All it says is every Saturday. Is that every Saturday until the end of time...?

Where are the servers based please?
And when you say matches at 5pm GMT, please confirm that's 6pm BST (current UK time)?

The matches seem to go on an awful long time. Are multiple matches played each evening? I'm in the Eastern Conflict tournament atm and matches are over in 3.5 hours.

Heya guys,

Heskey, the servers are U.S. Based, the times are 12PM EST to 8PM EST. I see you say about the long matches, it allows people to swap in and out and not be burdened to play all day long. We have ran 12 Hour tournaments in the past with Forgotten Hope, it was a great mix allowing European players to play early, and finished up by mostly a lot of American players.

Darman, the current schedule is every Saturday, including a Getting Started with PR day this Saturday to get some of our current Forgotten Hope 2 players who haven't played in PR up to speed. But from there on, Scrims start next weekend September 28th, and battles will continue until December 21st, right before Christmas Holiday. There will be a week break for Thanksgiving.

I've been a member of WaW since 2009.
We never had really problems. We do had some problems a couple of camps agoo with hackers but that was sorted out pretty quick by the TA's back then. Further, we have a tight group of members that are all backing eachother up. Thats why I'm still around at WaW even though I am a WWII genre gamer.

I stopped playing PR a long time agoo but giving it another shot because of this camp.
