Re: Your most stressful Role
I've used just about all of the assets/kits/roles/etc., and stand by my vote for SL.
However, the Osprey is a LOT more challenging than the other rotary aircraft in the game, and certainly adds to the stress levels.
Sticking by my SL vote though.

I didn't realize that medic is stressful to people until now. My simple tip is to observe what's going on all the time - check the map and squad menu more frequently, so you can see the wounded people that don't communicate and you also get a sense about where it's safe to revive and who you need smoke. To me the medic is the most comfortable role in the game but it's probably time to challenge myself and start to sq lead now that a ton of inf has been played

Squad Leader definately. I usualy have to start squads because nobody else does, the inf mumble ones.
And man, after a few round you just go crazy and don't want to create more squads anymore.

Re: Your most stressful Role
Medics face a lot of: "OMG GET ME UP NOW!" even when the enemy is crawling all over their dead body, dropping frags on it, or spraying it with bullets.
What's worse is when you get those impatient squad leaders who try to rush the healing process as if you can control the healing rate by merely willing it to go faster.
---
Squad leading gets frustrating when you get a lot of players who are prone to fixation and tunnel vision.
---
Being an AR user can be frustrating when you have a squad leader who insists that you post in the most obvious and exposed places (aka the roof of a building everyone and their dog loves to post on). You get to spray about ten rounds before somebody climbs up a building somewhere in your 360 exposure and get sniped no matter how often you try to check your surroundings. Then the medic comes up without smoke so you get perma-killed a fraction of a second after the revive.
---
Being a squad member with a squad leader who is either too slow to react, too focused on something that isn't tactically sound or a lost cause, or ignores virtually everything you tell him (e.g. enemies are flanking our position at close range and you get no response) is somewhat stressful but mostly frustrating. It really annoys me when the squad leader makes your assault come to a screeching halt every time somebody takes some damage even if you have them on the ropes. It's also irritating when the squad leader starts freaking out because you get separated due to enemy fire / explosions and suddenly it's unacceptable that you didn't check the direction he ran in and go the same way when a grenade landed at your feet.

Notice that almost every situation somehow related to the SL doing his job well. I.e., the most stressful job.Solid Knight wrote:Medics face a lot of: "OMG GET ME UP NOW!" even when the enemy is crawling all over their dead body, dropping frags on it, or spraying it with bullets.

...? The mere act of giving people orders doesn't mean you're doing your job well as a squad leader. I've played with plenty of squad leaders who were largely ineffective with a play style way too slow for what we were trying to accomplish.

Exactly my point. This thread is about what the most stressful role is. Your post named almost every role, in that it was stressful, especially with a bad SL. My point is, the SL feels the stress of EVERY role, (because he's in charge) especially when you have bad SMs.
