Great, I guess it was time for a change. While the assets are not getting spread out over all squads, the new rule still leaves me the freedom to backup the firepower of my infantry squad if I have to. So MECH and AIR INF still works as before, while the tanks are not getting owned one by one. As well as you don't see 5 people standing on the CAS spawn hoping they can "first serve".

So, pretty nice change in the server rules.

How you guys like our new asset rule?

For the most part I like it. The main reason I enjoyed the previous asset rule(or lack thereof) was the fact that infantry squids could nab an APC or IFV. But you solved that nicely with the new rules as well.
I'm not sure about the CROW/Panther rule though. In my eyes they are still squad transports along the line of a regular HMMWV or Land Rover, and such shouldn't count as an asset.
But apart from that, I think it's working out nicely.

The Lashkar AAS round was pretty epic yesterday, was like the most intense game ever on that map. And when the taliban almost turned the game at the end, we managed to gain the control back somehow and won.

Was playing today with my clan members on your server as APC squad. We was first and only APC squad, and there was no mech inf squad. We had 8 players, to man all 4 Bradley's at Khamisayah. But KSK squad took one of our Bradley, despite they wasn't called properly(They was named [KSK] squad. We reported it to admins, but they didn't take any action for over half hour, till we left server.

They broke rules:

3.2.1 First correct named squad is in charge of the assets. The name must be precise.
3.2.4 1x APC/IFV can be used per infantry squad as support. -> Mechanized Infantry

Admins took no action for half hour, despite we gave them exact rules they broke, and KSK was only telling that there is no rule like that written ingame(they didn't even bother to read forum for exact rules). But we was warned for language(we keept discussion calm for the whole time), and later when few of us left server, as there was not enough APC for us, for locked squad, which was locked when we was able to man all APC with nothing kept in reserve. It looked like admins was defending German players, despite they openly broke rules.

I understand that you are German server and a loot of coms are in german, but defending german players that are broking rules isn't fair imo.

To don't make this post to harsh, I like your server, and I think it's second best server in PR, but that situation really pissed me and rest of my clan off. Admins should make decision quick and tell them to stop this, or explain to use how this rule exactly work, in case we misunderstood it.

Hey iam sorry that the situation was kind of frustation for you. We know the Rules on the Server and have read the full rules, but for us the asset rules was meant like "You can create an Mechanized Inf Squad" if you take an APC with you. We have played this way several times without adding Mech Inf to our Squadname and other often playing Squads too and never got problems with other players. So we felt like we are on the right side. The rule is not so clear. An [NEW] Admin came over and clarified that and it will be changed in the rules that you have to Name the Squad Mech Inf.

For sure we could simply renamed the Squad, but in the end there is no difference, we would have taken that APC for Mech Inf. But yeah with a better name we would have avoided this whole discussion.. So hopefully see you again on the battlefield.

I wanted to ask NEW ADMINS COMMUNITY for statement of scandalous situation:


21.10.13 at around 11:00 AM I(AnaILiberator) have been playing with my mate

czeslaw333 on NEW on Beirut. We where flying Apache with good scores - have not

died for full round.


What happened is we took down Admins in dogfight with havoc once on the beggining

of round(RAGE), than nothing special happened till we found enemy BTR(secound

admin) near our Main base - we engaded it but it remaind alive so we retrated. It

followed us from bridge to mainbase raping us while we were landing. Somehow we

did managed to land burning and haveing like 1% of live, so they thought they took

us down - but we were alive. After We have repaired we took our revange on just-

spawned enemy HAVOC (ADMIN AGAIN), than killed raping APC with OTHER ADMIN, and

than got banned after 5 mins when we finally landed to reload (so ADMINS could

take our cas?) with reason like "Do not fool admins".


I want to point out that we had previously experianced xenofobia on this server

for not being GERMAN, so in this case have been punished for being better or for

both?

Hey rucznoj,

you should be really careful with your words here. Racism never was tolerated on the NEW server. Racism is something serious for us germans. I never experienced any form of racism, if then the admins reacted with a perma ban.

If you felt discriminated why didn't you posted earlier or got in contact with the admins?

Yeah easy man, accusing server admins of racism is a big deal. That whole thing is none of my business but when someone plays the racism card groundlessly in public I feel the urge to step in:

You told the admins, which were in the enemy team, that you got actually shot down/killed in main by an APC. I was suprised when i saw you still flying around. You kept on complaining about getting killed in main, keeping the admins busy and letting them think that the enemy CAS is down. You took advantage of it and killed their CAS chopper while you were discussing, knowing that the admins were also flying CAS while trying to figure out what was going on. After you killed both, the APC and the enemy CAS, you simply said "screw that, everything is ok, no problem anymore, since we managed to kill you guys".

You even called one of the admins who engaged your chopper with the APC "a piece of shit" while reporting them.

All in all not a nice way to try to solve a problem, you know...

Spook and Chicken - i have to say that rucznoi has right. Last time i feel not welcome at NEW servers. It looks like "german players has rights, rest haven't it". KSK, 3dAC, QRFs and rest of german-speaking clans have privileges.
Many times i was witness and "victim" of wrong admin behavior.
A simple example - my squad created squad APC, we had 8 people for it and according to the new rules of the server all assets were assigned to us... but KSK clan took it without asking ask and without proper squad name (they called their squad exactly: "[KSK]" not MECH INF for example or something like that, also they had just 4 people in the squad and locked it ). I reported them and admin ignored me - also at the server and then when i joined teamspeak. That's only one example which i remember.
Other thing: NEW guys creating early CAS, TANK etc. squad many times - it happend many, many times already. Every time i played with Rage at the same side i knew that i have no chance to take CAS squad because i was sure that he will say that i made "early squad" and kick me or resign. Every time i played map with CAS, every time Rage and rest of NEW guys were taking it. Also tank, APC squads etc. are being taken by NEW friend clan many times and that's sick. I have no proofs for that. That was really long time ago and i didn't care about it.

I felt same like rucznoi many times at the NEW server. Maybe "racism" or "xenofobia" are too big words but it was looking same from my outlook and like kind of "discrimination" mainly because admins were caring more for german-people. than the "rest".

His video is good example of NEW's admins behavior last time. Many bad things has happen at this server, NEW server used to be my favorite server for a long, long time but in last months something wrong happen with admins there and i stopped joining their server. No offense NEW guys but your server actually is worse than it was one year ago. One year ago your server was full almost everyday, no matter if it was week or weekend - there were always admins, people were coming to seed it (also me many times), good atmosphere and FAIR rules (same for EVERYONE)... Now i see your server is empty for most of the week, people just don't want to join it? Try to ask question "why". Maybe just too many people has admin rights? Think about it guys! I hope maybe someday i will return to NEW server and it will be fun again like it was in the past.

Afaik you cant create early squad on NEW (theres a Script that will resign you automaticly when you try before round timer reaches 3 minutes).

For that APC thing... i apologized a few posts above. It was a genereal misunderstanding on our side and admins were kind of irritated if you can read the rules like we did, so they didnt act immediatly. But its not like we said "hey theres an spare APC, lets take it", our plan was from the beginning MECH Inf and we used that one APC the whole round to support our Infantry Squad.

Server Rule is you need to have 4 people in the squad to close it, so yeah that admin was wrong.

And like spook reported (and thats not shown in the video) rucznoj lied to the admins and insult them. If you want that they solve problems for you thats a really bad idea.

If you experience things like you described above make sure to remember the names of the people and dont hesetiate to give feedback as fast as possible, otherwise people will maybe not realise that they were wrong.

edit: That NEW is not always seeded is not a problem of the NEW Server, more a problem of the playercount drop and increased server capacity. Look how many servers were filled a year ago and how many are filled now... NEW is populated like 6 days in the week and one of the most populated servers in europe, but of course we dont want to lose players because they feel they were treated wrong, so your feedback is always appreciated.

I admit I might be overreacted a bit - emotions.

But let's start from beginning.
1. I accused BTR for BASERAPE witch is captured on video, after its driver NOT ADMIN(kornij - something) said that they weren't raping I called him "lying piece of shit" - i believe NEW players can stay calm when they are sitting in burning chopper, unfortunately I can't.
2. I have not lied bout anything, I told you that they where raping main and u thought we are dead.
3. ADMINS DID NOT take any action after raporting BASERAPING BTR - probably cause their pal was gunning the APC and it took down their major threat (APACHE).
4. This topic shows how admins don't care bout such staff - I didn't got response and they didn't even took out logs - I SHOWED MY PROOFS THEY DIDN'T SHOWED THEIRS.

So I assume that you don't have anything more to say? In this case it means that NEW server is not what it was meant to be.

About "discrimination" - yes you are discriminating other ppl and its a fact. I've reported multiple times situations when someone was insulting me or my mates for being "fu*king russians" etc. And u guessed it - admins did nothing bout that.
And its also very often when if u don't agree with admin and u write it they say "if u don't like it GTFO" - its unfair when Me and my mates were playing on the server for like 2-3 years and also we did seed it often - and after all what you got is kick in the ***.

BTW. Why are you asking for feedback and when u get it - my posts - u cannot even answer it?
