Re: 62% loaded into map CTD
Please post system specs by
1. oprn PRLauncher
2. CLick Support
3. CLick "Copy to CLipboard" button
4. paste in this thread.
In general, that erro r is from your RAM and/or virtual memory either not being large enough, or the virtual memory being too slow to move data around on the disk drive.
Post the specs and we'll give you the proper fix.

Re: 62% loaded into map CTD
That's plenty of machine to run PR.
We got some possible known solutions to this problem. The 62% CTD is well known, 62% is the loading of geometries files.
First let's delete the geometries file cache:
1. Open PRLauncher (as an admin)
2. Click Support
3. Click Utilities Tab
4. The Top now says "Clear Shader Cache". Click the Perform Task button.
You might have fragmented geometries files in the Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2 Complete Collection\mods\pr directory. Defragging the drive/directory could help.
You might have very large number of programs int he background using all your RAM? Not likely here,
This problem can occur pretty randomly, in the end many people gave up troubleshooting and just fullly uninstall BF2, punkbuster, and PR, and do a fresh reinstall. If you want to troubleshoot, we'll walk through the process.
After you do the cache deletion:
To test, we'll switch to windowed mode so any CTD error messages are displayed as a popup message, if you get a popup error msg on the CTD, do a screencap or write it down , then post it in this thread.
Open PRLauncher
Click Options
Click Video Tab
UNTICK the Full screen tickbox.
Change the resolution to something smaller, like 1280x960 .
Click Apply.
Launch PR.
you should create a local single player server, and set several maps in the map list, then forward the maps, see if it CTDs at 62% on a local server during map change.
If it does CTD on local, it's usually best to reinstall, will be quicker than trying to find root cause.

Re: 62% loaded into map CTD
I would say to increase your page file to around 10Gigs.
Make a fresh and clean install off you graphics drivers (and the latest if there not)
Clear your cache on the PR Menu.
Give it a try.

Re: 62% loaded into map CTD
Wow, 3 GB graphics memory is pretty insane, is it an AMD 7950 or 7970?
