More of a forum suggestion, but how about a list of factions so that people dont get the bright idea to start posting suggestions that dont even relate to the current comfacs

well one sort of suggestion would be to clear things up about the factions. I mean, this forum sections changes like every month or so, and i have no idea what the status of these factions are.... are they still being developed? What happened to the other factions (PMC comes to mind)...

African Union? Modelling it off the hodge-podge assortment of gear the various nations have or running with whatever South African arms manufacturers have been producing for more uniqueness?

Syrian Forces? Rebel or standard? What's going to make them unique from the other Russian gear based factions?

Whatever faction you decide to add should have unique gear because we don't need another AK-based faction with various Russian gear.

Technically, theyre still there you just need to search in the faction archives. But yeah, a thread that contains links to all the spreadsheets or expanding the OP in this thread wouldnt be such a bad idea

Well, archives are from definition something that is not actual anymore, and as far design plans go, I would like them to have actual information.

At this time just the Syrian armed forces.

Think balance between insurgents and army. think maps with INS & AAS on urban maps. Think a few new assets and toys. Should give enough new experiences ;)

Not to be too negative but you basically made the Russian faction. I don't see the point in adding a faction we pretty much already have.

Noted. I'll talk to the devs about removing USMC,Taliban,ARF too then.

Dont forget to remove all those pesky NATO nations who think they are something. We all know they use the same ammo, lets just turn this game into a generic, that gun vs this gun game.

So we dont have to put any effort on research or modelling stuff correctly.

Well, wicca's joke is a bit far stretched, but he means the same really. But your 'critism' is similar to saying that the dev team shouldn't have put anytime into creating ARF as MECINS was doing fine on ramiel and it's so similar anyway.

Now it's wrong to think that weapons and vehicles is all what there is about PR really. I feel like maps define how each experience is different mostly. That's why I'm so in love with proper randomized AAS layouts. Again, what as faction lead I want to bring with the Syrian faction is a first proper middle eastern faction (that is not the MEC which is far from anything accurate to current middle east,but still very unique) and maps based on one of the only real conflicts happening right now. Together with a proper new balance between a Army faction (which is very far from being a copy of russians btw, if you can't see that by looking at the designplan of rabbit then you are simply not looking good or you have no clue what the Russians in PR have) and a rebel faction, 3 new weapons(so far) and about 5 new vehicles together on brand new urban maps that I so far haven't seen anything similar of in PR should bring many new experiences to enjoy. Besides it's my and my teams time we are investing, and we enjoy and believe in this project. It's not your time we are wasting :) If you think we better put our time in something else well then I'm afraid we'll have to simply disappoint you.

It would be a valid attempt of criticism if you actually took your time to look at the design plan.

The team is working on delivering: the weaponry/assets that the syrian army use; to make the faction look similar to the syrian army; give them arab voices and syrian located maps (with custom statics)...and you think it would be a copy of the russian army?
