Hmm I lowered the bandwidth through the setup wizard. I still don't receive audio cues. Unless I check the audio cue boxes in the PRmumble options, then I recieve audio cues; However I believe these are the incorrect audio cues used from mumble itself. Before, when my audio cues were working. They were more like static radio noise. These ones from mumble are different. I think the issue is with the launcher itself.[R-COM]MaSSive wrote:While that what you're saying is true, the thing is that after playing with PRMumble settings and lowering bandwidth requirement everything works fine as expected.
Exclusiveness is fine for me, and that is subjective completely. If I run PR I have PRMumble to communicate in game, and I dont need any other voice program distracting me.

Yep had the same issue! I had that normal mumble beep and the audio cues at the same time then.007.SirBond wrote:Hmm I lowered the bandwidth through the setup wizard. Then I disabled the MUMBLE audio cues again and had the regular radio noise cues working. I have no idea why or how but now it works. Also I checked and unchecked the "exclusive" thing. So all I did was check and uncheck everything and it worked lol

Re: Mumble Audio Cues not working no matter what settings
^ What Hunter said.
If both are checked you wont be able to hear PR cues because they sound too low. I think they should be amplified. I'm not sure if they're connected to any audio setting in BF2, so try increasing some of the settings in Audio CP inside BF2.
Im hearing both and its fine for now, but as I said PR cues should be louder.
Clearly launcher is not an issue, if it works for me and for some other people then it should work for all. Its your PC then. Might be permissions, might be sound settings, sound setup you have ( 2.0; Quad; 5.1;7.1; ) etc..

Re: Mumble Audio Cues not working no matter what settings
Alright, I have fixed the issue.
I had speaker fill enhancement enabled through my sound drivers. Once I disabled that, I now receive audio cues again. I think the problem was PR mumble has a limited bandwidth for using audio cues or whatever and using speaker fill enhancement was buffering the audio with too high of a bandwidth for the launcher to correctly use.

Audio cues are not transmitted over network, so you're not receiving/sending them. They function locally on the client. I'm not sure but since they are in common_client.zip it should be that way.

Re: Mumble Audio Cues not working no matter what settings
I still have the same issue, the cues are not heard.
Updated every driver, reinstalled PR, no cues ingame.
Also the sounds in the vehicles are LOUD, I cannot understand what the others in the same vehicle are saying to each other (they don't seem to have this problem).
