Win 7 64 bit An error occured while trying to copy a file

Post by >para< »

Hello, i have problem over installing PR.1.0
CPU : Intel pentium D 3GHz
RAM : 3GB
GPU : GTX 260 896MB 448bit

Its the third time im trying to install the mod, every time i get that error, i reinstalled bf2 patched and bf2 runs properly, first time i try it to install but the error appear, I thought that the problem will be resolved by downloading the ISO again by torrent, but the problem appears again, I could not find a solution in the forum. I write about it if anyone has a solution, previous installation errors appear in the middle of the installation and stopped on burning sands.zip or other maps, but now stops at begining can anyone help me.

What is the source of your download?
You should check the MD5 hashes of your download .iso file

Which torrent client do you use?

Open your torrent client, select the PR 1.0 .iso download, there should be an option , either in the right click context menu, or in the menu bar, to "recheck file hashes" "force recheck" "integrity check" or something similar.

Your torrent client will then check the integrity of what you downloaded compared to the roginal copy of the torrent.

You could also use Home of the MD5summer , download and install, run it, use this tutorial to point the program to your .iso file
About the MD5summer

Assuming you downlaoded the Unpassworded Client Installer, Md5summer should check the file and come back with the exact same MD5 and SHA numbers:

Code:
prbf2_1.0.29.0_full_unpassworded.iso
Size: 6.03 GB (6,477,357,056 bytes)
CRC32: 06329c08
MD5: 3e8a98dcc17464e2a6bbf2c9c356b95e
SHA-1: d66cece02aa2527482ee5b883aab5497b859665c
SHA-256: aa8b1817f32e1a20871a84e9319c4d132e7c520e41434d1a0ea16a05392355aa
