New player, new account, trouble logging in

Hello,

I have a plethora of Origin/EA accounts and I have owned BF2 a few times. EA Origin support refused to help me add BF2 to my account so I caved and purchased a new copy via Origin.

I have installed, added PR and I'm attempting to login.
I have tried using old EA accounts, new ones, my current one and I get varied errors about wrong email address, bad passwords and so on.

Where can I find assistance on this, how can I reset a password with this?

Sorry if this is a super n00b question.

In addition, I'm in the UK and desperate to get trying this.. so please someone take me under your wing

RESOLVED

I loaded up BF2 normal from Origin.

I hit "retrieve password" link and got https://login.gamespyid.com/lostpassword.aspx I ignored the outdated security certificates.

This allowed me to change my password by going to my email address.

I then could login.
