Requesting ALT kits

I have a question:
Is it possible to request ALT or STD Kits when requesting the kit at a crate or apc?

And if so, how?

Is it when requesting marksman you won't have a scope?
And with combat engineer you get iron sights instead of red dot?
And with the HAT and AA kit you get scope or red dot? when you are a conventional soldier?

It depends. But it usually differs between scope or no scope indeed. But sometimes it gives you a totally different weapon. For example the taliban medic has either a lee enfield or a mosin nagant to choose from. There is no real list available. You'll just have to try it out

some of the AT kits are quite different, e.g. on the Ru I always get alt rifleman AT, for the RPG7 and ironsight AK instead of scope AK and RPG26

Is there a better way of showing the player what the alt kit contains? In the spawn menu it's no big deal. But when using the comm-rose it becomes really annoying.
