So recently my HDD fried.
I replaced it and installed BF2 and then PR, all fine and dandy.
Until I ran into mumble issues.
I'm coming across the usual "Wrong Certificate or password" issue.
I had a registered username in mumble before "The Frying" happened.
But the oddest part of it is that it worked on the first time I launched PR, but no more after that.
Thank you for reading and any possible help that may come.
Mumble wrong certificate or password.

Re: Mumble wrong certificate or password.
To get you up and running immediately, The quickest solution is to create a new vanilla BF2 online user account.
join online multiplayert server in vanilla bf2 for a moment.
exit BF2.
start PRLauncher, import your new profile from BF2, and use that for PR.
The long route is we have to ask one of the Devs in charge of PRMumble certs to delete your cert. That might take a few days if he is busy irl.
What is the exact spelling of the PR user account name that is having the problem?

I can connect okay to mumble using just "Subscyed" but it must definitely be the one with the tags, "=MeRk=Subscyed" that must be in the middle of the certificate issue.[R-COM]LITOralis.nMd wrote:To get you up and running immediately, The quickest solution is to create a new vanilla BF2 online user account.

It's a bit uncomfortable but regardless, I'll wait for the solution.

Since mumble servers are run on the individual game servers, and registering and managing registered users is up to the admins that run the mumble servers, you need to contact the server admin who runs the mumble server where you can't login. They will need to delete your previous account.

So... You're saying, that every PRM server from now on should have it's on PR Mumble server?[R-DEV]AncientMan wrote:Since mumble servers are run on the individual game servers, and registering and managing registered users is up to the admins that run the mumble servers, you need to contact the server admin who runs the mumble server where you can't login. It's been like that ever since v1.0. The official mumble server (mumble.realitymod.com) only hosts channels for a few game servers that can't run their own. The vast majority of game servers host their own mumble server.

I had a brief notion things had changed with 1.0, specially where mumble is considered.[R-DEV]AncientMan wrote:Since mumble servers are run on the individual game servers, and registering and managing registered users is up to the admins that run the mumble servers, you need to contact the server admin who runs the mumble server where you can't login. I'll speak to the lads.
Thank you AM, to the rescue as always!

Re: Mumble wrong certificate or password.
I'd like to bump this thread again.
The issue is unresolved, still, and the only way to fix it is to, as stated before, delete the certificate from the main mumble server and allow me to make a new one.
Thanks for the attention once again.
