So, we (KIA) played on this server today on map Dragon Fly. My clanmate was somehow switched to the opposite team. May be because of the bad configured autobalance, don't realy know. Then he was kicked with reason 'switching team'. What was that? It is beacause our K/D ratio was like 20+/0?
So, here is our admin doing his job getting all you guys to the same side so you can enjoy your experience on our server, he got you all to the same side with excellent efficiency to be quite honest, while I might add still admining other clans players and the server.
You have not applied to be added onto our autobalance via our forums MeRk forums so you should really be thankfull for the help you guys were getting.

2013-10-22 15:06:55: SWITCH performed by '=MeRk= Loller-UK' on 'KIA uJI}OXa_nyJIEMET4uK': Instantly

During the match we watch closely for anyone switching side trying to get a advantage, autobalance and manual switching issues a warning to all admins on the server and as you can see records it in the logs too (Thankyou Piepieonline ^^)
If you look below there was no reason for Raubti3r to manually switch, which is what he did, thus creating the warning which resulted in a kick to prevent any intel getting through to you on the enemy team's location/plan's etc

2013-10-22 16:40:50: PLAYERSWITCH performed by 'ADMIN WARNING': KIA Raubti3r switched team (Not autobalance).

2013-10-22 16:43:59: K performed by '=MeRk= D.Busby' on 'KIA Raubti3r': switching team

All is fair and above board and quite frankly I couldnt give a toss what score anyone has if you look/act suspicious on the MeRk server you will be removed. You have to understand we aim and strive to make playing on our server a fair as possible for everyone, clans, public alike. And as always if a mistake has been made then you have our apologise, but we have to be sure.

Also this is not feedback, its about a kick on the server so in future would you please direct and problems to our FORUMS and as always ill be happy to help in any way that I can.

Regards and Thankyou

We always appreciate admins work.

If you clan are not registred (or you didnt have clantag) you will be punished for switching back to teammates, right?
Im sorry, but it is a feedback. Clan-autobalance it's not a good idea.

No donation required m8, just ask on our FORUMS ,post your clan tag and I will add it ASAP, Or send me a private message on our forums, either way ill get it added.

No we do not just punish people mate, If you are not on the autobalance list then you most probably at some point get auto switched by the server, the auto balance limit is 2, hence if the difference between the sides is greater than 2 the server will even the sides out.

If you get auto balanced (not switch sides manually) a "!r admin switch me back please" works, and ill say pretty fast too.

What I was refereing to in my earlier post was that your clan member switch sides manually, he pressed the button himself. Then hung around for a little while, made no effort to get back on the side he started on and played most of the round on.

That is was made us suspicious and thought that action should have been taken to preserve the fairness.

As there is no way to 100% prove what actually happened we can only speculate, that is why only a kick was issued, no bans,no temp bans, no harsh language. Just a kick to make sure, that is all.

It was great games today, tnx everyone.

Funny, but almost whole round on Fools we didn't have any admin on the server. This is rare case when server supporting teamwork and maturity only by it's name :D

Admins: Very responsive and probably the nicest guys left in the PR community with administration powers. They switch you, warn and remove grieves and in general sacrifice a lot of their play time to keep the server clean, for others to enjoy. On top of that they are simply polite and don't have those random "rage" outbreaks many other online gamers suffer from. Massive thumbs up here.

Gamplay: The gamplay is most of the time decent to good, with some comms going on and a solid map rotation. One thing I might add, I don't know if you guys have a "follow commander orders" rule but you should either put one in place, or enforce it more strictly. I haven't CO'ed on MERK for quite some time but I remember that being quite annoying.

Overall a good server to play on, the playerbase is not the best, which I find very odd given the good reputation of the community but still, anyone should and will enjoy their stay here.

Edit: only 82 slots is shiiiat :p .

Thanks a lot Brain for the feedback, we do try to provide a fast reasonable response to issues that arise, glad to see all our hard work is appreciated, we have been getting a lot of love from the community which gives us a lot of motivation.

Regarding the commander rule, ill try to get a post up and discuss it with the rest of the clan and see how we feel about this, maybe we can make this happen.

Imo you are the best server atm, but it still could be better. Rly setting !shownext for Archer when current Bluefor is loosing foor good 3 rounds and part of that team is rage quitting isnt good idea.
Overall its a minor drawback in the server greatness :D

See you on the battlefield.

Thank you for your positive feedback Takeda, I could be a mistake with the fact that next map hasent been set, or that MeRk members might come over to balance the next round. If not, point will be taken into consideration, and hopefully not happen again. See you on the battlefield.

Other wise remeber you can all bring the feedback to all members of MeRk from our website.

Hi Takeda,

Thanks for the feedback – as Mr Kendit said! One small thing I'd like to add is we work hard to pick the maps depending on how the round goes, for example we will try and pick a balanced map and/or switch and move people around to keep things nice and even wherever possible.

But of course it's always work in progress so we definitely welcome feedback!

See ya on the field!

Not really feed back on the server but more feedback on the merk community.
Last night in HOG, we had a few Merk guys playing. I made a light armor squad and merged our squads together when they wanted to take a scimatar. They were polite and worked great with the squad. I had to leave before the map ended, but it was a joy playing with them while they were on. I will stop by the merk server the next time I see it populated.

Thankyou for the kind words ecfelix,I will be sure to give the guys a pat on the back :)
This is exactly what we strive to achive as a clan.
Manner's cost's nothing and it is a requirement that every MeRk member must have, along with being able to shoot straight ^^

Regard's and hopefully catch you on our server :)

And we are flexible with the shoot straight part with some members, which is obvious in some cases

Hi sirfstar, thankyou for the feedback on the server.

She's just a little temperamental some times, the odd day it will crash a couple of times on the trot, but most of the time the server is pretty solid.
Last night it crashed, then 2 maps in it had to be manually restarted due to squad bug. Everyone rejoined which was amazing and I thankyou all for that <3 so its a little of suck it and see m8.
Everyones crashing, you just notice more on our server if you play on our server more than the rest.

Regards and thankyou

Apart from playing Operation Marlin 20 times a day, MeRk is doing pretty well at the moment.
Good balancing and stuff, keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback Inspektura! Regarding the maps, we do try to mix it up so that there's always something interesting next, such as going from an Urban layout to forest to desert etc. At the moment we are not running mapvotes since there is a slight risk of it causing server instability, however do not hesitate to suggest maps to us! We will try our best to fit it in, if not next then somewhere down the line.
