Servers??

Where are all the servers. Seems like Hog and Cia only ones that have any players.

Good sight. I try to keep my ping down. At what point does ping affect game play.
Some of the servers on the list have restricted me for not being on the list of players for that server.

Anything below 150 is fine, although you might notice some issues during CQB. I've seen a lot of people play with pings around 200 too, so it's obviously playable.

My ping can get up to 300 and still be perfectly playable - just don't fly, and try and send the guys with low ping in for CQC and you'll be alright - I find playing medic to be a decent option with higher pings.

Bf2 is supposed to be calibrated to a ping of 100, so close to 100 ping is fine. There is a latency compensation tweak, but some say it doesnt really affect anything. In the console (~ key) type SettingsManager.floatSet GSDefaultLatencyCompensation 0.XX where xx is your ping. .1 would equal ping of 100, .05 would be a ping of 50 etc.

If your ping is really high like 250+ you could try this to try to improve hitbox detection some.

EDIT: the tweak shouldnt do anything anymore and is already dynamically incorporated into patch 1.5 according to some. I cant find official info on mobile google, but it wouldnt hurt to try the tweak if you ever perceive an affection of gameplay from ping.
