Unarmed and Non-Combatants in PR.

Post by obpmgmua »

Does anyone else feel like Unarmed Players and Players who are Non-Combatants(I.E. Dropped their kits) are pointless?(Aside from kit swapping) If someone drops their kit and has no weapon then shouldn't they be better protected? Case in point; If you're surrounded and you drop your kit to surrender, why the hell do they always shoot you? They have no consequence in doing so. Should PR not reflect your surrender and punish the enemy for killing you?

What else should they do? Let you go? They could "arrest" you with the knife, but thats pretty much the same as just shoot you. Does not really matter for you in the end. Also there isnt supposed to be a point in being unarmed...its just if you drop your gun to give it to someone else you will end up,...well without a gun for the period of time until you grab another kit. What else should people get instead of fists if they drop their weapon?

If an APC or INF comes close and you know you have no chance to get away without getting killed, I usually drop my kit, lay still and pretend to be dead. Works in 95% of all cases. Vehicles usually always ignore you. A bit harder with INF, but works most times aswell. Sometimes they come by and check your kit and keep moving...some even tried to revive me a couple of times already, making me actually bleed since Epipen causes as much damage as a fist punch to the enemy (not to friendlies though). It starts to get critical when they lay next to you shoveling epipens up your *** and making your body move by pushing you to the side, exposing your disguise. Then its time to grab your kit and kill as many as possible :P .

I think that arrest mechanics should be reworked and applied to all factions.

Well i also think that there should be more punish for killing unarmed (with limitations of course) but just play dead it's realistic too keeping the ability to be unarmed useful. If i am not wrong if you are unarmed for enough time and you are killed there is some kind of punishment i can't recall...

Then go through the correct channels and make a suggestion - rather than disguising it as a discussion. ;)
