but I thought that in Bf2 you could use enemy vehicles, or booby trap them like I did  however couldnt you just make where the "captured" player looses all their weapons and can be forced into going into the extraction vehicle,

PR: Battlefield 2 isn't going anywhere. The good old folks here made it clear. They are still continuing to update it by adding new factions, features, stuff from the community development threads etc etc.

Apart from the above, other seperate teams are developing PR: ARMA 3 (The ex-Arma 2 Team) and, for the first time, a game called Project Reality 2 made from CryEngine, a next-generation open-sourced engine that allows for far greater freedom, easier, convenient and stable game-making to use than modding the closed-source Battlefield 2 Refractor 2 Engine. Also it's open-sourced, and due to it being over 12 years ahead of Battlefield 2/Refractor 2, it has so many features and possibilities.

An example is the real-time map editor that allows you to quickly play the map and make modifications in real-life, where-as in Battlefield 2, you use the BF2 Editor (Which crashes sometimes), 3dsmax for models, Photoshop for textures etc.

On-Topic:

How about the idea of a meter or a text indicator (Arresting, 4: 3: 2: 1...) like S.W.A.T 2 when you arrest someone via right-click ? It can use the Medic Healing/Engineer Wrench Animations and play the sound of a plastic tie using the plastic tie's right-click button. The problem is: How can you tell who is arrested and who isn't?

The solution: Making the kit they left on their body disappear to stimulate confiscating weaponry, then show the Plastic Cuff on the player's arms. It also has to play the sound of coughing and stuff, and once the plastic cuff and the right-click is initiated, after they get arrested, the voice stops. Would be very difficult to code, though we will wait to see if it's possible if a developer is interested in this idea. Their kit is removed on their body.

It will take 4 seconds to cuff someone.

Advantages

1. Gives the enemy the opportunity to ensure downed enemies cannot be revived

2. More Realistic

3. Makes working as a team more apparent by discouraging lone-wolfing

4. No more random enemies picking up kits

Disadvantages

1. When someone wants to get an enemy's ammo bag, and someone arrests them, the kit is gone, unless the player takes the kit and then drops it elsewhere. But then that means the guy who arrested him will loose the dropped kit, unless it can be done via Python to differentiate which kit disappears. And then there's the issue of looking like the enemy, and accidentally being shot by friendlies.

2. It will annoy the hell out of people especially in Insurgency, and make Insurgency feel more nerfed when they find out they have to spawn in 180 seconds because they didn't press 'Give Up', or didn't do it before the BluForce takes 4 seconds to arrest, though if you don't react in 4 seconds because of toilet break or food it can be good just for a break, depends. It will stress people out though, unless the time for arrest is reduced. Though you can use the enemy arresting kit (Although all weapon kits have a limited time of 10 seconds before the screen goes black, and will make you look like the enemy)

3. Can cause people to give up more due to the fear of having to spawn in 180 seconds (For Insurgency).

4. Will be disastrous, and promote giving up in AAS, loosing tickets (Unless one ticket is removed via arresting). You can't mod players to not lonewolf, communicate but you can encourage them.

Also, it can take a long time in a firefight, and especially in AAS when it's less likely, it will work in Insurgency, though this will give the US/German/French Team a bigger advantage, not unless the person gives up when he sees a USMC/US Army/Frence/German Soldier on his body. It could work when a opforce picks up a blueforce kit and use it to arrest people, which can balance it out as number 3 shows.

But one thing: If you communicate with friendlies and tell them to not arrest them until you get ammo, it won't be a problem, but most of the times there isn't any time to arrest anyone but this thing will benefit Insurgency. Not sure about Gameplay and Fun Wise, or if it will somehow balance things out by it being optional to arrest any bodies.

Once the soldier arrests a wounded soldier, instead of showing 'Dead', it says 'Arrested'.

Proposed Punish Times:
In AAS: 70 Seconds
In Insurgency: 100 Seconds

Now, let me explain some things:

PR2 CANNOT be done in CryEngine because EA (AFAIK) wants part of the money gained with the game (around or so 40% or 70%) And that means that it would be just better to make PR2 an freeware. That's nto gonna happen.
Everyone can use the CryEngine for FREE, as long as they don't use it for commercial purpose. Since PR2 is FREE they have to give EA, Crytek or whoever, jack shit.
The only downside being they can't use any assets present in games using the CE3 (crysis, etc.) and have to make most of the models and texture themselves.

Epipen should work on enemies. Then you could just revive and shoot them again.

Where exactly is it written in EA's copyrights that you can use there games in new games as long as you don't make any money off it? All I can find is that they have all rights for the game, which is the same as saying no one else is allowed to use it outside of the modding scope, profit or non-profit.

A few of us like the suggested feature, and will debate this in our internal forum.

Thank you for the suggestion.
