Problems with PunkBuster

This might not be the right area for this post so if not then feel free to move it to a different place. It kicks me for not having 1393 and 306 update and I have put those files into the correct files (I think, they are in the steam version of BF2, so perhaps the wrong place.) Any suggestions on how to fix the problem are greatly appreciated. If any other details are needed please tell me and I will happily tell you them.

Download and run both files from evenbalance.com, run the files as an Admin.
