Windows 7 C++ error

Alright I have taken a long hiatus from PR but decided to start playing again. Did a fresh BF2 install through origin and a PR install through desura. I keep getting the error
Unable to Detect Required Dependancy
Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 Update 1 x86

I am running windows 7 64 bit and have tried downloading both C++, each individualy, repairing, and uninstalling. Im at my wits end trying to get this to work and would appreciate the help.

Yeeeah. I'm the source of that second link. My issue still hasn't been resolved. Really wish someone would throw me a bone.
