Standalone Patch
Given my troubles with the launcher's patching system, are there any standalone patches available to bring PR up to date without using the launcher to patch? The 'manual patching' via the launcher and downloading the patch files individually doesn't help, as the problem seems to be with the launcher trying to overwrite files.

Re: Standalone Patch
The furthest the patcher has got currently is failing to install 1.0.33.
EDIT: I've found a very time-consuming workaround that has allowed me to update to 1.1.0.0: restart the machine in Safe Mode, delete the ProjectRealityUpdate folder from Safe Mode, restart again in normal mode, install one increment of the patch, and then repeat the process for each increment until fully patched. Has taken an annoyingly long time, but hopefully anyone else suffering the same issue with Error 57 might find this works for them.
Update Started: 03/01/2014 18:52:40
Creating new directory for temporary update executables: C:\Users\Luke\AppData\Local\Temp\ProjectRealityUpdate
Copying required executables
Copying: PRUpdater.exe
Copying: Reality.BF2.dll

Thank you for the info.
Ancientman is the only one who knows what AncientMan programmed, so we'll get him to look at this. He might be in contact with you , if you don't mind helping out a bit.

I'll try and make sure my PM box is set to alert me by email. I think, to be honest, it's probably more of an issue with Windows being stupid than the installer itself, though the issue is unique to the installer, as I've been able to install other things without issue.

Re: Standalone Patch
Well, looks like you've solved the issue. But for anyone coming across this thread, you can update from 1.0.29.0 -> 1.1.0.0 directly by downloading this manually:
http://files.ancientdev.com/updates/prb ... ch.prpatch
And simply double clicking it. The update should automatically begin and it should work just fine

Re: Standalone Patch
An .exe or .zip version of that would be welcome; since my issue was with the launcher's patch install method.
