Hi, I bought BF2 Battlepack, on Origin account. I tried installing from an iso and it asks me for a serial key.
I tried looking in origin bf2 details, it gives me a key but it says its not a valid bf2 key.
how do i go about this?
BF2 Origin.

Re: BF2 Origin.
You can download the game from Origin itself and install it from there, no need to install from an .iso file.

Re: BF2 Origin.
i want a friend of mine to play PR with me, so i organized an extra original DVD key for him, though i wonder if he can use that key to download the game via origin and if he still has to install the patches manually if he installs via origin?

Re: BF2 Origin.
Origin has UP TO DATE version automatically (is logic, since it is on EA servers - Origin
) and it MIGHT work with Origin, depends how "old" exactly your key is... (if very old, will PROBABLY not work, if NOT TOO MANY years old, it might work with Origin!!) you have to try!!!

Re: BF2 Origin.
Fabio Chavez,
You can download just the Origin client, install it, then run it. It is only ~150Mb. https://www.origin.com/en-us/download
In the Menu bar, there is a "Redeem Product Code" option.
Select that, then type in your BF2 CDKey.
That's only way to test.

Re: BF2 Origin.
FYI, on the origin page it states that older games incl. BF2 require activation via support (chat/email/phone), but in general, its possible.
thanks for you help.
