Even in more active clans, such as OD-S, finding 16 to 18 competent and willing SLs/COs to all be willing and online at the same time is a stretch.

Could be done if two clans each controlled one team each, would put realistic burden on the clans non-SL players who would otherwise be asked to step up and SL against their will.

I m sure that when Trooper909 gets to be admiralsupremedcommander of Clan with over 10 excellent squadleaders, he will divide them in two teams so that everyone can have fun.

Believe it or not there are a few OD-S guys who will purposely switch teams with the same "let's balance teams" attitude Trooper mentioned. Unfortunately this results in one group raging from the server 90% of the time, and as such it has become somewhat taboo.

Server admins keep our clan in check, we get shifted around more often then anyone not wearing the tags would notice. So if you want to discuss team balance bring it up with the server admins, they are more then happy to tell us which team to be on and I see no reason we wouldn't oblige the request.

In my personal opinion:

Leading under this fast gameplay circumstances with new public players, is a pain in the ***.
No one hears, no one cares, no one needs it. Its harsh but its true.
This is what you get with to much action and to less teamwork/tactic in a game.
Only results of inadequate gameplay (deviation(i mean weapon centering, spawnpoint availability, spawntimes and running speed/duration), especially value of life, decisions. Simple, the game needs to punish players more for careless, teamworkless and fast action behavior. PR 1.0 do a shit about this (for me a matter of fact). Visuals, vehicles, the new HAT, effects etc. ... are realy awesome i love it.

Watch the other 98% games out there you will find the same symptoms.

On a positive note, when we've done super leet operator officer corps on teams, it's always mega tacticool operating pr teamwork. It's really fun when you know the majority of the SLs on your team will work and listen to you. It also shows all the pubs who participate in it how awesome and epic teamwork pr is and can be.

However, like has been said, when this happens we don't have enough people to SL 8+ squads, so:

A) The majority of squads on one team are controlled and the round becomes gloriously unbalanced

B) Only a couple squads are controlled on both teams, resulting in much frustration and raging when the majority of each team isn't really willing to work together on such a high level

Also, keep in mind that SLing usually isn't the easiest of jobs when in charge of 7 strangers by yourself. Clans are formed with the idea of always playing with a close group of friends, so it can be a little counterintuitive to decide to split up or even play against each other rather than running one very effective squad together.

A cool server event idea would be to pick two clans to only SL a round, and have all the pubs be grunts. I could see how people might not like this though.

Tl;dr much easier said than done

I simply saying, why doesn't a clan have as their directive for its members to take a leadership roll when playing rather than just joe shmoe rifleman in squad 7.

No one is talking about stacking teams.

No one is talking about a mandatory 16 SLs on every match.

Just when some one goes on, they lead, increasing the instance of leadership, and the experience for everyone.

I'm just talking about, for example, if you are on CIA's server, and see a CIA guy on, why couldn't he take up a SL position instead of just a rifle man in some squad with no influence on the experience on their server?

It seems to me that a clan that runs their own server would be popular if they regularly provided the leadership roles and be the examples.

A player doesn't have to be Rambo or Patton to run a squad, just need to communicate and participate.
Spearhead does. And we usually dont care if we are on the same team.

OD-S are really god clan though 10/10 many skillz. And everyone gets so hate on them. Must be because such goodness.
