Have you ever considered putting PR on the crysis engine?

Post by obpmgmua »

I apologize if this question has been asked before.

I was playing some Crysis MP and it dawned on me how similar the game feels to BF2(minues a few quirks and outliers). The game is very beautiful after all these years and the engine is praised for making objects look so beautiful.

Edit: I meant the original Crysis 1 engine.

Let me rephrase my question.

Have the Devs ever considered in PR's early development stage to put PR onto the Original Crysis engine and not the BF2 engine?

Simply, yes! But the PR-BF2 and PR-2 Team are compromised of different teams. They are making it with the free, awesome CryEngine 3 SDK!

Currently, they are building the internal-alpha and the infantry aspects.

Head over to the PR 2 Section:

does nobody bother to look at the news page ever?
Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.
