I just downloaded the file but can't open it with 7-zip.
I just get this message in a pop up window every time I try 7-zip
c:\Users\downloads\prbf2_1.1.0.0_full.iso is not a valid win 32 application.
installed visual c++ update 4, 64x and 86x versions but still can't open my download
can someone help. just discoverd why no one was on the servers, my version if I recall was v958. Thanks for all you guys do for us earthlings.
ps sorry I am useing Win 7 64 bit and no torrent, I haven't reserched torrents enough to use them.

How did you download c:\Users\downloads\prbf2_1.1.0.0_full.iso ? Torrent, direct http download, Desura?
You might have a corrupt .iso, if you have a torrent download, recheck the file integrity.
Also, try downloading and installing this:
[*]Mount it using free software such as Virtual CloneDrive.
And try to mount the iso as a virtual DVD drive.
Downloading that small program will be faster than redownloading the .iso, so it's worth a try.
(Note, make sure you uninstall the old PRMumble 1.0.0.4Beta that was used with PR0.958 )

could you give me a basic explanation of how to use this virtual clone drive (I have it installed) to open this ISO file? it doesnt have anything in the way of help and I have never even heard of this type of software before.

Hiya,
It's a pretty simple program.
download, install.
Run it.
Then go to the directory where you have the prbf2_1.1.0.0_full.iso file.
Right click on the prbf2_1.1.0.0_full.iso file, Open With... Virtual Clone Drive.
Then go to My Computer.
You should see a new DVD drive, usually D: E: or F: drive, with the PR logo.
Double click the drive to either (depending if you have the Windows Autorun feature enabled or not), explore then open the Setup.exe file, or the autorun will start Setup.exe immediately.
Then click Install on the PR menu.
