hi!
I'm looking for a decent soundcard, mostly for daily music streaming and gaming. So i was looking into X-Fi series as it seems the last real gaming line? The Asus line doesn't come recommended it seems with BF2/PR and other games I play. I don't want to spend more then 100? really. Any advice?

Re: Soundcard
For speakers or headphones?
At this point, the value of a soundcard is pretty low. If you have the space, saving some money for a Audio/Video Receiver, and running the audio from your GPU through HDMI to the AVR, then AVR to speakers/headphones will provide a long term solution.
IF you want the soundcard, you don't have many choices at under 100 Euro,
Creative
Sound Blaster Audigy RX Sound card - 192 kHz - 24-bit
Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express
Asus
ASUS Xonar D1 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card
ASUS Xonar DSX 7.1 Channels PCI Express x1 Interface Audio Card
TurtleBay

Re: Soundcard
X-Fi Titanium is really the only thing you should be considering.
@LITO Xtreme Audio is not a real X-Fi card!

Re: Soundcard
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion
Seems to become hard to get, but seams reasonable in reviews? Not the high end but definitely good for gaming it seems. I found a shop to get it for 80€. What you guys think?
Don't feel like being the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD. That's 140€ at least

Non HD version (Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium) will still serve you better than any Fatality, about the same price or cheaper as well.'[R-CON wrote:Mineral;1979245']Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion
