Where can I buy Battlefield 2 digital download?

Post by CampinCarl »

I have a prepaid card with $18 on it, and I'd like to buy a digital download of BF2, though I haven't been able to find one that cheap. I only need the standard edition, so I would think it would be cheaper than the deluxe version. If I have to I will buy a copy from Amazon but then I have to wait for shipping and fraud.

Battlefield 2: Complete Collection on Steam

Steam! :D
18 dollars ain't gonna get you much though - anywhere. BF2 has always been about 20 bucks.

But Amazon has the actual hard copy version for like 8 or 9 bucks new.
With that 18 bucks, you can probably get it rushed to 1-2 day shipping.

9,99€ for Europeans, for some reason it's 19dollars in Canadian Origin store. Weird.

Hmm I wonder if I convert to Euro's easily. I really do wish that the age for PayPal was lower, because if I wanted to buy another card I would have to spent another minimum $25. Wouldn't really be that bad except for the fact you can't combine prepaid cards.

I ended up ordering a used copy of Amazon. I won't have an issue with CD key and that sort of stuff right? If so I can still cancel the order.

Uh..... Just to be safe I'd cancel it. It's always best to go new with anything involving a cd-key.

It's the safest option to buy new from a reputable source... too much to lose if you buy a dodgy key to save a couple of bucks tbh.

I cannot launch PR 1.0 through steam. Anyone got a solution?

It has no Steam support.

Steam and Project Reality have nothing to do with each other. You can use Steam to download Battlefield 2 and then download PR in the steam file directory, but you do not need to launch PR through Steam.

If you want you can add any .exe file into your Steam library by clicking on the "Games" menu at the top of the Steam program and select "Add a non-Steam Game to My Library", and then find your PR .exe file. This enables you to launch PR through Steam if you so desire.

If you want to launch PR through steam you need to turn the in-game overlay off.
