Desura Install Issue [solved]

I played PR a lot during the summer, but took a break, and now i'm ready to get back into it. I've been having a LOT of problems with the install, and the manual installation issues seem to the worst, so i'd like to address the Desura issue and hopefully get a simpler fix.

I can't recall the exact error, but to try and fix it I verified the files. Today I get on to see if it worked, and it appeared to be doing something with the installation. Things were loading well, then I get to the "Installing Tool: Visual Studio Redist 2012 Update 3" section, and i'm stuck. It has been stuck @ 50% for hours. I try to exit out and restart, same deal. I read somewhere repairing the file might help, but it didn't. Any help with this issue would be appreciated. I haven't played in so long, and i'm ready to return to the fight!

Uh, this is embarrassing. So, immediately after posting the issue, I decided to restart Desura, restart my computer, and clean out some files. After restarting Desura 3 times, it has appeared to work. So for anyone having this issue, this is what fixed mine. Sorry for the waste of forum space, but I am very excited to be able to play again!
