Server connection failed: Proxy host not found.

Post by CookiesForDays »

I don't know when but mumble keep giving me this message over and over whenever I play:
"[오후 1:29:48] Server connection failed: Proxy host not found.
[오후 1:29:58] Reconnecting."
I can't hear and talk to anyone in game and yes, I reinstalled it, but it didn't worked. But game runs fine. Can someone help me how to fix this? Thanks.

Are you in the US?

Start PRMumble.exe , located in BF2\mods\PR\bin\PRMumble

GO to COnfigure-Settings->Select "Advanced settings" tickbox in bottom left->Click Network in left column.

On the bottom of the center panel, you now have the Proxy options. You need to change this, or disable it, for whatever proxy you are using. YOu probably want to disable it.

Then close PRmumble, start PR, and test play online.

Thanks that worked, but after I fixed the proxy but I can't hear anyone on mumble and others can't hear me too, for some reason mumble works just fine. I didn't mute/deafened myself. And yes, I live in U.S.

This is just a general Windows audio input device and audio output device problem.

What make and model of mic and headphone/speakers are you using?
USB audio?
Wireless headphones? Or any other interesting info I should know?

Start PRMumble.exe , located in BF2\mods\PR\bin\PRMumble

GO to COnfigure-Settings->Select "Advanced settings" tickbox in bottom left->Click Audio Input in left column.
Center Panel, you have "select device", you need to choose your mic.

In your Windows System tray, right click the white speaker icon, select Recording devices. Find your Mic.

IN the PRMumble window, you need to select that mic.

----------------------------

Audio input is the same thing, select Audio Input in the PRmumble settings,
and the Windows System tray, right click the white speaker icon, select Playback devices.
The playback device in Windows needs to be selected in PRMumble.
