Define better server specs
Last night, CIA, server crashes, server restarts, reruns Lashkar... map runs with less than 64 players for 2.5 hours and then crashes... I just feel like this is not DDOS but rather just underspec'd servers because there is no recommended server specs. Are these servers using server quality memory that has been tested? Been thinking about building one for awhile and hosting myself but with a lack of a guidance from DEVs on what hardware to buy to have as little crashes as possible without spending 10k.

Re: Define better server specs
very short answer: it's not underspec'd servers causing crashes. Especially not on the servers we see full these days. As they aren't on low specs. Crashes also have nothing to do with DDOS attacks. Obviously when a server is nullrouted the server will 'crash'.
Needed server specs are probably the same as BF2, just beefier bandwidth could be nice as mumble and 100p do require a bit I reckon. But you should ask a serverhost for those answers
