Mumble not working in CIA (Weird problem)

Hey everyone. I have a weird problem that seemingly has started randomly and that's that my PR Mumble doesn't work in CIA at all. Mumble is open, unmuted and when I check it shows me as in whatever squad I enter. I can see everyone in my squad but for some reason they don't light up and I can't hear anyone broadcasting in local or squad chat.

It works flawlessly in other servers such as HOG. Late night when HOG dies I switch to CIA without closing my PR and I still encounter this problem despite it having just worked in HOGs server.

I have looked at my Mumble settings they are okay and they work in other servers without issues. I have tried restarting my Mumble several times in attempt to fix this and allowed it sometime once restarted to connect. The last thing I have tried is restarting my game and re-joining the CIA server. I first encountered this problem about a week ago and restarted twice without it fixing but on my third restart it somehow worked and I had Mumble in CIA again! However today about a week later (My first time playing CIA since) I have hit the exact same problem again and have restarted about 8 times so far with no success in Mumble coming back online on CIA and it fixing the issue.

I'm completely baffled on what could be wrong. The only thing that I can think of is that I run nosingleinstance on Mumble which I have since 1.0 came out and use that to sometimes open two copies of Mumble and occasionally play some music while flying. That still doesn't answer why it works in CIA though and not HOG.

If I run Mumble manually a second time however it does only show HOG on it for some reason:



The Mumble on the left is me in CIA. Note I am not in a squad due to writing this thread not because it didn't auto place me in my correct squad as it should it does that fine. The last bit of information is that when this started last week prior to it just starting I had closed my Mumble about 8 times in one session of playing CIA (Forget why) and re-opened it and on that final Mumble restart it started.

I am completely stumped.
I can offer this,

%AppData%\Roaming\Project Reality\Project Reality Mumble\mumble.sqlite

That is the file that is probably broken.
But, I don't know how to fix it and need AncientMan to chime in .

Thanks for the reply. It's quite frustrating but I don't think anyone else has the same problem as myself at least. Hopefully I can fix it somehow.

You didn't by any chance use the self->register function at any point?

This points to being something either on your mumble that doesn't like the CIA server, or maybe you were banned from their mumble for spamming one day...

I am also rather perplexed because it's not actually denying you connection, it's simply not moving you to the correct channel.

Never used that self -> Register function and I am about 99% sure I am not ban from CIAs mumble for spam.

I'm having the same problem, but after a few rounds, not even at HOG my mumble was working anymore.

EDIT: The difference is that I'm using Windows 8.1, but that's it.

Got the same Problem, also only on the CIA Server. Maybe it has something to do with the connection? Using Windows 7.

It's possible they are being placed in the ]CIA[ Flyin' High: Test Airfield 's Mumble subroot instead of the CIA Kokan and Hookers subroot?

I know that PRTA has had that type of problem.

Windows 8.1 seems to be a game-killer imo. Could you just run it as Windows 7 via application compatibility?

We're running two PR servers on the same machine but bound to different IP addresses.

Win 7 compatibility mode makes the hud go poof. All you have to do is press the mumble button when in teh squad, solved4me.
