Teamswapping bug

Maybe it was just me, but has anyone else had this?
Went to swap teams yesterday (MEC to USMC) and when I had swapped over, It still said I was on the MEC team, I could spawn at MEC spawn areas, but could have USMC guns!
when I spawned it instantly killed me and stuck me back on MEC.

bit wierd!

You were probably lagging while BF2CC was acting on you. Teamswitch is forbidden on some servers if the teams are completely balanced.

That's a BF2 bug, happened to me once before, except I stayed on the same team but was able to spawn at enemy spawn points until the server caught with me and swapped my team. Weird eh? Just a couple of crossed wires.
